ABOUT
What Between is
Between helps you work towards greater confidence, stronger relationships and more satisfaction in your job by putting coaching into practice. It is grounded in the purpose and behaviours you’ve committed to, and the situations you face in everyday work.
How a practice works
You start a practice by describing a real situation in your own words. A conversation companion helps you think it through: it asks about what happened, works out which behaviour is worth practising, usually just one, and near the end helps you shape one small action you could try in your day.
You take the action into real life, then come back to record what you did and reflect on what you learned. Your performance isn’t scored. Return to your previous experiences to notice what works, decide what to adjust and build on it the next time you practise.
What this can mean for you
Handling difficult conversations more comfortably can make everyday work less stressful. Listening, influencing and developing others can strengthen your relationships and help you prepare for greater responsibility or a future career move. Small, repeated practice gives you a way to work towards those goals, one situation at a time.
What stays private
Coaches cannot read your conversations, actions or individual reflections. Every new saved reflection contributes to automatic team theme analysis. The app checks candidate themes and publishes combined learning only when at least three different saved reflections support the same learning pattern across the whole pilot. These can come from the same participant. You can skip saving a reflection. Automated checks can miss identifying details, so keep your words general and leave out sensitive information.
Who is behind it
Between is built and looked after by Lawrence Craig of Leaner. Access is by invitation: every account is approved before it can be used.
